Privacy Policy
Jinns Night is a social deduction game you play with other people. This page explains exactly what we store, why we store it, and how to get rid of it.

Who we are
Jinns Night (“we”, “us”) provides the Jinns Night mobile game and this website. If you have a question about this policy or your data, contact us at support@jinnsnight.com.
What we collect
Account information
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive and store your email address, display name, and profile photo URL from that provider. If you sign in as a guest, we create an account identified only by a random id and a device identifier — no email, no name from any provider.
Profile and gameplay
Your chosen username, country, avatar, game statistics, league standing, coin balance, friends, and the games you play. This is what makes leaderboards, matchmaking, and your profile work.
Content you create
Messages you send in game chat and direct messages, reports you submit about other players, and any profile photo you upload. Live voice in online games is transmitted between players in real time and is not recorded or stored by us.
Technical information
Device type, operating system version, app version, language, and a push notification token if you enable notifications. If the app crashes, we may receive a diagnostic report describing the crash.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and the app contains no advertising or attribution SDKs.
- We do not record or store voice chat.
- We do not read your contacts, photos library, or location.
Why we use it
To run the game and your account; to operate multiplayer features such as lobbies, chat, friends, and leagues; to keep the game safe by acting on reports and blocks; to send notifications you asked for; and to fix crashes and improve the app. We also use it to meet legal obligations and to prevent fraud and abuse.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that make the game work, and only what each one needs:
- Apple and Google — sign-in, and payment processing for any purchase. We never see or store your card details.
- Agora — real-time voice and video transport during online games.
- RevenueCat — purchase and subscription status, so we know what you are entitled to.
- Sentry — crash and error diagnostics.
- PostHog — product analytics, to understand which features are used. Session replay is disabled.
- Hetzner — the servers in Germany that host the game.
We may also disclose data if legally required, or to protect the rights and safety of our players.
Other players
Your username, avatar, country, league tier, and statistics are visible to other players. Anything you type in a game or a chat is visible to the people in it. Please do not share personal information you would not want another player to have.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. Live game state is short-lived and expires automatically. Reports of abuse are retained after an account is deleted so that we can act on them and keep the game safe — they identify the reported account by the name captured at the time, not by a live profile.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your profile, statistics, league progress, friends, chats, and purchase records. It cannot be undone, and purchases are not refundable on deletion. If you cannot access the app, email support@jinnsnight.com and we will delete it for you. Step-by-step instructions are on the delete your account page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Email support@jinnsnight.com and we will respond. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Jinns Night includes unmoderated chat and live voice between players and is not intended for children. You must be old enough to meet the age rating shown on your app store, and at least 13 in any case. If we learn that we hold data from a child below that age, we delete it.
International transfers
Our servers are in Germany. Some of the providers listed above operate elsewhere, including the United States, so your data may be processed outside your country under appropriate safeguards.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted, and passwords are never stored because sign-in is handled by Apple and Google. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and give notice in the app when the change is significant.
